Mike hooked me up with this site - he saw them testifying in front of Congress about internet safety. Not only do they have educator resources - but resources for parents as well. They also have a page of safe sites.
It seems to be a great resource - but I have not gotten through all of it - there is a ton of information. Maybe it can help you out!

On a related note, here's a link to an interesting article posted on CNET News.com ~ Kids Outsmart Web Filters ~ It really brings home the idea that the filters are not the answer and we need to teach kids responsilble, safe use! The comments posted to this article are interesting as well.
