Hi! I was doing a little blogging research and I came accross these 2 blog services.

Edublogs
I looked them over and set up a couple of trial blogs. It seems like these are good tools for teachers because there is an option to be able to monitor all comments prior to posting. Both also allow the author to add people to approved posters. They are also free.
I know everyone has been happy with Blogmeister - but just in case you need a couple of more tools.

Thanks for sharing these links, Donna. On the Edublogs site I looked at the WordPress tutorials and they were very helpful. Then I set up a blog on LearnerBlogs for one of my schools to use. You can take a look at the Village Elementary Blogosphere

Thanks, Donna. I'm introducing it at school on Monday. We are having "RESPECT Week" and each day has a topic focus. Those are the topics I put on the blog. I hope lots of teachers and students will take advantage of it!
